Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Trade Governor — the web app at tradegovernor.app and the Trade Governor browser extension (together, the “Service”). By signing in or using the extension you agree to them.
Who provides the Service
The Service is provided by Lukáš Žulevič, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO) 09523677, Blatnická 4219/4, 628 00 Brno, Czech Republic. Contact: [email protected].
What Trade Governor does
Trade Governor is a risk-management tool. It calculates position size from the risk rules you set, limits how often you trade, and — only when you explicitly ask it to — places orders on your connected cTrader account through the cTrader Open API.
- It is not investment advice. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Every trading decision is yours.
- It is not a broker. We do not hold your money, execute trades ourselves or have access to your funds beyond the orders you instruct.
- It is independent. Trade Governor is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Spotware (cTrader), TradingView, Google or any broker or prop firm. Their names are used only to describe compatibility.
Your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 and legally allowed to trade the products you trade.
- You are responsible for following the rules of your broker and prop firm, including any restrictions on third-party tools. Some prop firms limit or prohibit such tools — check before you use Trade Governor with them.
- Keep your extension access tokens secret and revoke any token you no longer use or believe was exposed. Actions made with your token are treated as yours.
- Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to break its security, overload it, or access other users' data.
Trading risk
Trading forex and CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. Trade Governor reduces some risks but cannot remove them. In particular:
- Orders can be rejected, delayed, partially filled or filled at a different price by the broker, and connections to cTrader can fail.
- Calculations depend on data from third parties (account balances, exchange rates, symbol specifications) and on the settings you enter, and may be inaccurate or out of date.
- Risk limits and stop-losses do not guarantee a maximum loss, for example during gaps or fast markets.
Always check orders and positions in your broker's platform. You are solely responsible for every order you place, including orders placed through the Service.
Availability and changes
The Service is in beta. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend the Service for maintenance or security reasons.
Price
The Service is free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, prices and payment terms will be presented to you before you buy, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed trading opportunities, failed or erroneous orders, or for indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of the Service. This does not limit liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for harm to life or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time: disconnect cTrader, revoke your tokens and ask us at [email protected] to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you disagree, you can stop using it and close your account.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.gov.cz).
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
